Whether you’re a big brand or a small business, supporting Wakefield Pride has many benefits to your company.
Many people head to Wakefield for the Pride Celebrations year on year. Many more filled our Pride Partner venues in order to openly celebrate diversity and equality in the city. Our main events on Sun Lane have attracted over 3,100 people, an even bigger reach on social media, local media and radio. Supporting Wakefield Pride also demonstrates your support for the LGBTQ+ community to your employee networks, potential customers and client base. We want you to be part of the party and let the world see that you care about Gender identity and/or Sexuality equality.

Bids are taken and then pitches offered based on criteria including, selection of food, vegetarian options, vegan options, price of food to public and stall bid amount.
We ask that everyone pays a minimum donation to go towards the running costs of Wakefield Pride every year however we do appreciate larger donations where available.

FAQ's
Can I select the location?
The position of the stall is at the sole discretion of Wakefield Pride. We aim to build a site which helps promotes business and benefits attendees equally.
Can we give things away on the stall?
With a few key exceptions (stickers, carrier bags, tote bags, alcohol, confetti), you are welcome to give away samples to visitors. However, we really urge you to consider the sustainability of the samples, and if they are causing excess litter around the site we may ask you to stop.
Is vehicle access available?
Access can be arranged for drop off and collection only, you will need to park your vehicle away from Wakefield Pride.
Can we bring a vehicle or trailer instead of using a marquee?
All stalls are marquee-only, and we cannot have vehicles or trailers on site.
What’s included in the price?
We provide the standard plot size of 3m by 3m.
We do not provide a marquee/gazeebo, chairs, tables, electricity, Internet & WiFi access or other amenities.
Are there any prohibited items?
You may not bring glass, diesel or petrol generators, fuel, smoke machines or smoke effects, amplified music, strobe lighting, or confetti onto or around your stall.
We do not allow the sale or promotion of tobacco or vaping products.
What happens when I apply?
We will review each application and decide which applications to accept. We are looking to provide a good mix of vendors, charities and local business that will offer new experiences for visitors to Wakefield Pride. We may also look for vendors, charities and local business that are able to accept both cash and card payments.
